One tune to…: Iñigo Vontier
Iñigo Vontier is a real friend of us. Calypso Records boss is coming to Vilnius on Saturday to start a new residency here. So we asked to share some music before.
One tune to walk the dog
This track is really important to me. I was living in Madrid when I was 20 years old and use to listen to this al the time while walking the streets. Such good vibes!
One tune to spend a day in Nida
I have a perfect tune by my Lithuanian brothers’ Plot Pilot called Nida Beach, but it’s still unreleased. The next that comes in mind is the tune by Ingus Baušķenieks. I don’t know much about him but this track just takes me back to Nida and those dunes.
One tune to take a shot of tequila
In Mexico, we love drinking tequila, listening to heartbreaking songs shitty rockola in a cantina and sing it loud. This is one of my all-time favorites, made by Los Angeles Negros in the 70s.
One tune to introduce Curses
Since I met Luca aka Curses a few years ago, we became close friends. We see each other once in a while at festivals and clubs. I’ve seen him grow with his sound a very positive way recently. I just love that cold wave style he’s looking for. Plus, he is a very stylish guy and a good soul.
One tune to say goodbye
I love goodbye songs! It all depends on why we are saying goodbye, but let’s assume this one is for closing the party. I like to keep things sweet & mellow in the end and this track makes me go back to times when I was a raver kid. Let’s all hug!
