One tune to…: Thomass Jackson

2019-11-07

Calypso Records boss will join Thomas Von Party at Multi Culti residency on Friday. We asked bearded friend from South America to share some music for various circumstances in life before getting culted.

One tune to write a letter for mom

Probably my favorite Argentinian band. This track talks about a neighborhood I used to live in Buenos Aires. So now that I live in Mexico I think it will be a good inspiration to write to my mother.

One tune to make everyone dance in a club

I have an edit of this song that I’ve been playing a lot lately… I wish I could show it to you but it’s still unreleased and it will come out in Calypso sometime soon! This is the original and you can get an idea… but it’s been tested in many different places and it works pretty well!

One tune to enjoy the moment

This track always makes me smile when I listen to it or when I play it. Simple, ravey, & groovy all the way through. Circa 1999.

One tune to take a walk in Mexico City

Great psychedelic track to take a stroll in the busy and chaotic streets of Mexico City. Also nice to get lost in one of the big Mexican parks.

One tune to get culted in Opium

African chants, electronic sounds & analog percussions in the encounter between a group of artists from Cameroon, Chad, Congo, and Togo. Get culted!
